A sit log worth keeping
Date, stand, hours, the wind you actually had, what you saw and what you didn't. A season of sits is a record of your ground; five seasons is a pattern nobody else has.
Weather that means something
Temperature, wind and speed, precipitation and barometric pressure marked Rising, Steady or Falling, for each day ahead. The pressure move often tells you more than the temperature.

Sunrise, sunset and civil twilight as raw astronomy, with moon phase, moonrise and moonset and the major and minor solunar periods for every day in the window.
Your ground, mapped

Private by design
Where you hunt is nobody's business. Your stands and sits stay on your device and in your own Notion. The companion site has no accounts and no tracking, and it never stores or logs coordinates.

Do I need a paid Notion plan?
No. Everything in the template works on Notion's free plan.
How does the wind verdict work?
You set Good winds on each stand — the directions you can approach and sit it on. The forecast gives the direction the wind blows from. If that matches one of your directions it is Good; one 45° step either side is Marginal; anything else is Wrong. If a stand has no good winds recorded, you get the plain forecast and no verdict — it never guesses.
Does it tell me when I'm allowed to hunt?
No, and it never will. The stand page gives sunrise, sunset and civil twilight as astronomy — the times the sun crosses the horizon and sits 6° below it. When the law permits you to hunt, and the seasons, licences, tags and limits that go with it, are set by your own jurisdiction and change; you need to read and follow them yourself. This template is a field log, not a rulebook.
Does it work in °F, inches and yards?
Yes. The stand page shows °C and °F, km/h and mph, and pressure in hPa and inHg side by side.
Does it work for bear, turkey and birds?
Yes. The species list is yours to edit, and the stand, sit and observation log works the same whether you're in a ladder over a field edge or sitting a spring turkey.
Where does the forecast come from?
From MET Norway's weather model for the stand's coordinates. It covers about the next 9 days. Wind on the ground is shaped by ridges, bush and thermals, so read it yourself when you get there.
Who can see my stands?
Only you. They live in your own Notion. The stand page gets the coordinates from its link and never stores or logs them, and there are no accounts and no tracking.
